Guitar Lessons

Location: Williamsburg, Brooklyn

Pricing: $60 for one hour; or series of 5 classes for $250 

Please note: if you prefer lessons in your own home or at another location, add approximately $20 per class (depending on amount of travel)

Who: I teach students from 10 to 80 years of age. I welcome all levels of experience from complete beginners to established professionals.  Please note, a guitar can be provided during the lesson if you do not yet own one or cannot travel with it.

What: Lessons will focus on learning how to play solo guitar, accompany cante  (Flamenco singing) and/or baille (Flamenco dancing). Over the course of our lessons, you will learn the different palos, (the different styles of Flamenco) and their compas (rhythms). To enhance your understanding of the rhythms I also teach how to do palmas (the typical hand clapping you hear in Flamenco for the various palos).
